Monitor desktop over lan

Hi.

I'd like to build an app that can show in my form
a users desktop in Lan and what he/she is doing real time.
Like "Remote Anything".

Is it possible? Can u provide a working code?

This would be a very hard application to write, and the reason you dont see many around, or even examples, is because it is far easier and cheaper to use someone else's :o)

Thats what i guessed... But who knows...
I dont want any functions E.x To handle the other pcs desktop ... If that makes it easier...
Just view the other desktop as a real time video...

I agree with mikelittlewood why right it yourself when others have already done the job, for a good option try RealVNC

You could look for C code of VNC on the net. As far as I remember it's source is available. You will have to rewrite it for delphi.
Search google.

I believe all the examples need a client app and a server app.
Is there a way i can take only a snapshot without installing anything on the other machine?

I don't know of any built-in windows function to do that, unless you could fire those key-strokes from a VBScript and past the clipboard to a bmp file and save it, but that's (if possible) beyond my vbscript knowledge
