VB.NET Install to client question

I have created a VB.NET WinApp.  I am going to push this very small app out via a command line.  I have tried the following:

msiexec /i "<PATH>" /qb

However, the problem, is that it is saying that its already installed, and to remove it first.  How to just overwrite whatever is there.  This is just an upgrade actually to an existing app.  Maybe another approach???

In your AssemblyInfo.vb is the version 1.0.* or 1.0.0.0?

I think that this is another one of those questions that is not going to have an easy answer (but I could be wrong).

TheLearnedOne:  I got it, based on when you asked me what version and such.  If I change the version of the application in VS.NET, repackage the MSI setup program, and then distribute, it works fine.  If I leave the same version, it crashes.  I can live with that.

your asking me about versions and AssemblyInfo.vb led me there, so thanks for having me look at that.
