First SQL Book

I have no experiance with SQL or programing but I need to learn SQL. Mostly from an ADMIN POV but I will also need to help with development and quries. I don't really want to spend a load on 1/2 dozen books but I want to make sure I have what I need to get started. Any sugestions?
