If its a domain, I'd look at replication problems between domain controllers.<br />
If its a workgroup I think just can't add an account from a different computer to another computer. All users/groups in a workgroup are local to the machine.<br />

I have created a new user in Administration Tools, Active Directory Users &amp;&nbsp;Computers.<br />

I can log in to the users account successfully on my server, but when I try and connect to the server he will be using, I get the error message that the user does not exist on the Network.<br />

When I try and add user to the User/Group Account on the PC he will be using, I get the error message 'Name Translation: Generic Processing Error'<br />

Generic Processing Error in Windows 2000

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers.
