Yes I own a Acer Computer. I don't know the motherboard model number but I do see two windows in the performance tab.

Then you don't have to worry about hyperthreading - it's working. &nbsp;Try running a cpu-intensive task and you will see task manager hit 50% (instead of 100%).

The other day I purchased a Pentium 4 3.0ghz Socket-478 800FSB. I have a SIS661fx Northbridge chipset and SIS946 Southbridge Chipset (I think). Anyway I have set hyper threading as enabled in the BIOS and when I run the Intel Hyper Threading test the proccesor passes, the bios passes but the Chipset doesnt. I have read over the internet and on the SIS site and they say the SIS661FX Chipset is Hyper Threading Supported. How do I enable Hyper Threading on this chipset? I have downloaded IDE drivers for it but no prevail. Any software I have to install?<br />
