I'm trying to move recurrent calendar items from one user's calendar to another's, but I am getting the error that it cannot be done because I need to move the original appointment, or copy the single occurence and move the copy. Is there no other way of doing this?<br />

As for the original appointment, I JUST created a recurring event and tried moving it. Isn't that the original appointment?
