Canon Mp360 printing blank pages

The MP360 is a scanner/photocopier as well. When i try colour copy it works fine. Black copy prints blank pages. The ink cartridge hasn't dried up as i've also tested with a fresh cartridge. I understand there is a part of the printer that has become blocked and needs to be cleaned. I need to know exactly which part of the printer this is, how to clean it and what to clean it with.

Thx.

probabbly your print head is clogged up with dried ink.
if you have access to the head, you can try cleaning it with a moistened cloth by wiping it for  some minutes till you see in k coming out again.

After cleaning, try pressing the cartridge against a tissue paper or something see if the ink do appear on the tissue or not. If not, you probably need to change a new cartridge.

Is it possible your black cartridge running out of ink?

there is a bit that has a felt-like surface where the ink goes from cartridge into the printer. Is this the print head? Can you point me to a diagram that shgows the print head, or part that needs to be washed to unclog the printer?

The problem was not print-head related. The purge unit on my printer was faulty and replaced by Canon. Printer is now fine. Will ask for a refund in CS.
