Easy Disk Quota question...

I just enabled disk quotas on a drive. If I set a limit of 5GB and deny anything over, will that effect the folders that are already there that exceed the 5GB max?

Or do I have to empty them out until they are under 5GB and then it will take action on them if I go over?

dont ask me why but disk quotas only affect what was created AFTER the quota was put in place..... so to answer your question it will not affect the folders that are over 5GB.
