Citrix and iptables setting

From outside network, I can use the web interface of Citrix but when I
click on the application. It times out. It is interesting that if I add a
hardware router between Linux Firewall and Internet connection. It works.

Internet ---- Linux firewall ---- Citrix          (Doesn't work)

Internet ---- Cheap Hardware Router with built-in firewall (DMZ to Linux) ---- Linux firewall ---- Citrix (Works)

Any idea? I only know that if go through the router, I can connect to the Citrix by using exteriior IP. If just go through the Linux firewall, the exterior IP doesn't work. Is the "router back" function causing the problem? How to set it?

Thanks !!!

It's 3.0 and the web interface is working.

1) Internal network to Citrix (web interface) ok.
2) With extra hardware router connected between internet and linux firewall. ok
3) no hardware router and just linux firewall. Failed

Thanks for your reply.

Leochan72,
glad to try and help

1.  Within the web interface did you define the "Server-side firewall settings" (Have to ask)
2.  Internet ---- Cheap Hardware Router with built-in firewall (DMZ to Linux) ---- Linux firewall ---- Citrix (Works)
Give me an Idea of the IP addressing you have setup for this senario?

1) No. Sorry, don't know what means "(Have to ask)"?
2) See below

Internet ---- (Dynamic IP) Cheap Hardware Router (192.168.2.1) ---- (192.168.2.2) Linux firewall (192.168.3.1) ---- (192.168.3.103) Citrix

Any idea?

Thanks,

Zoo,

I got the answer.

I have to change the WAN address on the Citrix box.  The citrix box is currently set for the WAN address for the hardware router.
After I change the WAN address to Linux firewall one. It works now.

Thanks for your comments anyway!!
