Recording Messages from the Cisco Phone to my PC

My Company just switched to 7960 Cisco phones.  It only makes sense to me that you should be able to record your messages from the phone to a wave file on the PC.  I can not find it any where in the help documents.

Is this possible?

Hi Jaziar,
When you say "messages", are you refering to your voicemails - or recording telephone conversations?

This is actually a function of your telephone system, not the phone itself.  The phone system will be handling the storage and management of these messages.
Many VoIP systems can be configured to email you copies of the messages, or make them available through a browser.

What sort of phone system is it, and how are the voicemails handled by it?

voice mails is what I am wanting to record.

no clue on anything other than the phone is a Cisco IP Phone 7960 series

I will call the help line and see if they can assist me.

Jaziar: It sounds like that'll be your best bet.
As I said, the voicemail storage and management happens centrally.  You'll need to speak to the people who look after that to see if they can help you.
