WinCVS

I have a C# project folder that I need to get into CVS.  How do I do it and how do I know I did it correctly?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi,
Tom

First of all you would require to have a username password for the CVS repository whichever you are using.

If starting from scratch then you would have to create a CVS repository.

Now open WinCVS. You can also create CVS repository from the WinCVS itself by selecting Create-Create New Repository

After you have a repository and a username password all you would have to do is login

Prior to login
go to Admin - Preferences and enter the CVS root on first tab and port on the Port tab

Voila now all left to be done is browse to your local directory and select your project folder and add to CVS.
