breaking a raid 5

We are running a 2003 small business server Dell Poweredge 2800 with 3 36 gig hd raid 5. The question is what is the best way to break the raid and setup single drives  Can you run a V2i Powerquest image and restore to a single 250 gig drive.

becarefull if you are going to break RAID, you should take backup of every thing from RAID volume.

use the default feature of windows 2003 to break RAID.

Image of your system can not work properly if the change in hardware is occure. coz window 200x HAL can't let run imaged windows for security reason.

imaging only works fine when you restore the image with out doing any hardware modification.

on my computer right click -> manage -> disk management -> right click on your Raid Volume and click delete volume.

but make sure that you have taken backup all of your data.
