I have a Word document that I need to insert various PowerPoint slides.  I need the slides to show up on separate pages in the Word document.  I am trying to insert a link to a specific slide.  My PowerPoint presentation has two slides and I need them both to show up in the Word document.  However, I can only get the first slide to show up.  I need to be able to link to Slide 2 so that only Slide 2 shows up in my Word document.  I found something like this on the web ({LINK PowerPoint Slide 1 "filename and path.ppt" \a \p}) but it doesn't seem to work for me and I am unable to paste special (paste as link is greyed out).

I'm using Office 2000.

Any suggestions?

I can get this to work using Paste Special.

Make sure you're in Slide Sorter view to select a slide. The presentation must be open when you do it; don't close it until you've pasted-special the link.

OMG!!!!  You are so awesome!  I guess it wasn't working because I was in normal view, not Slide Sorter view.  I was able to Paste Special.  You are my idol!

Hugs and love and much thanks!
