They are different IP subnets, are they not?
Example:

befsx41 public IP a.b.c.d, inside 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
wrv54g public IP d.c.e.f, inside 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0

Thank you. They have different IP subnets. I can ping the routers from one end to the other, but can not access or ping any pc or web cameras behind the routers.

What is the default gateway of the device that you are trying to ping? Is it the ip address of the router, or something else?

My apologies... vacation days, family reunion, and my Internet has been down most of the day....

Do you have a "connected" status of your VPN tunnels?
On your WRV54G main page, Security | VPN
status = ??

jaquesadaAuthor Commented:
Yes I do have "connected" status on both router.

I can ping the pc behind the BEFSX41 but can not access or see it on My network places. I also have 2 web cameras, Axis 205 that I can not ping or acces by http.

Behind the BEFSX41 I have a WAP54G access point that I can ping also. The BEFSX41 is my home gateway, and the WRV54G office gateway. In the office I have another router for access other branch. Pc's on main office running windows 98 can access pc on the other branch subnet, but pc's running xp can not.

In the router VPN setup, Advanced options, do you have this box checked:
Other Options
   [x] NetBIOS Broadcast

If you can ping an XP PC but can't access it, then that is a NetBIOS and permissions issue.
If you can ping a PC but not the web cameras, check the default gateway setting on the cameras

>In the office I have another router for access other branch.
You might have a simple routing issue. Do both office routers know how to route to your home subnet?

I was out of the country for the weekend .... that why I couldn't answer before.

I have solve the problem with the cameras... I forgot that I changed the ip address of the gateway.... But about the issue with subnets on the main office an branch, first I need to solve that only pc's runnig windows 98 and 2000 pro can see pc's on branch subnet, pc's running Xp pro can not.

No progress at all. I have made some test with tracert, nbtstat and pathping command. With pc behind BEFSX41, the one with VPN connection, tracert and pathping shows no problem, but nbtstat return " HOST NOT FOUND". And I'm still unable to access the that pc.

With the other branch subnet, just connected with two RAD routers, using a cord connection (no internet), all commands shows no problem. But still not seen any computer from this subnet using my network places.

Hey... Thank  you for your interest. I'm thinking on send back the router to linksys. I install my old router (BEFSX41) and the vpn start working at once.
I really apreciate if you can help me a little more with this issue before I send it back to linksys.

Regards.

If the old one works, I'd go ahead and send it back and get a new one.
I have a WRV54G and could not be happier with it.

Hi guys,
I am experimenting the same problem with this devices.
Could you help me?
What is the router that you send back to Linksys, the BEFSX41 or WRV54G?
Did you get any answer from the Linksys support?
Thank you and best regards!

jaquesadaAuthor Commented:
The router I'm sending back to linksys is the WRV54G. The problem with that specific router is that get the vpn conection but I can not see or ping any device behind the WRV54G. I try to conect the vpn using an BEFSX41 with same parameters used on the WRV54G and it become connected and works at once. So in this particular case it seems to be a problem with the WRV54G.
