Login Script - Windows 2003

I have different login scripts assigned to groups (payroll, marketing etc) that map to different shares with exlusive permissions. I would like to have a few specific users in both groups to get mapped to a single shared drive in addition to the drives already mapped. Is it possible to create statements in the existing login scripts that will map additional drives only for specific users?

Thanks

Sure.  Depends on what your login scripts are written in.  VBSCript, Batch.

Batch, you would use

IF "%username%" == "desireduser1" Net Use x: \\server\share1
IF "%username%" == "desireduser2" Net Use x: \\server\share2
etc

Or use ifmember - a utility you can download from Microsoft.

%username% is a variable set by the system, desireduser1 and 2 are just sample user names.
