secedit command help

I need to make a adjustment to users security policy regarding NTLM authentication

I don't know exactly how other users may have their workstations security policy configured, I just need to applythis one change.  I'm trying to get something like the below to work, but no dice as of yet.

To apply a policy addendum:
    c:\>secedit /configure /db secedit.sdb /cfg c:\NTLM-FIX.inf

 - contents of c:\NTLM-FIX.inf  -

      [Registry Values]
      machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\lsa\lmcompatibilitylevel=4,1

Yes, editing the registry seems to be the only hope for such one off configurations (never could get secedit to work without at least some sort of warning or error anyway)

I ended up dumping the registry before the change, then after the change, THEN used WinMerge to find those hard to notice dword value changes http://winmerge.org
