Export PDF as CMYK not RGB (or rewrite cmyk)

We have built an application that makes press adverts from our databases.

We create a PDF from Coldfusion that gets built in RGB.

I need this to be in CMYK for our printers.

Is there a way to output directly as a cmyk pdf?

or does anyone know a server tool that converts the RGB to CMYK?

Your help will be appreciated

I was under the impression that you need to set this using distiller?

There's another thread that talks about RGB vs. CMYK, etc., and they mention JawsPDF:
