Hi Experts,

We have two locations each setup with Exchange 2000 server. Lets say location A and B. We are closing location B definitely
at the end of the may. Since there wil not be any Exchange server anymore in locatin B, I would like to move one of mailboxes from Location B to Location A.  To let user whom mailbox's will be moved to be able to check and send emails via Outllook Web Access.
Can I get some help on this issue.
How can this be done.

As no one else is jumping in I will respond.  FYI though, this is the outlook forum, and I am much more familiar with the client side, as compared to exchange administration.  There is a forum for Exchange server that you might want to post a low point question in, pointing to this one, if you need that specific expertise.  But hopefully we can fix this here.

Assuming the two servers are in the same AD this article should work:
    Moving mailboxes between servers (328810);EN-US;328810

Another option is to just create a mailbox for the user on server A, then export his data from server B to a PST file and import that PST file into the new mailbox on server A.

I am assuming that OWA is already configured on server A, obviously if it is not you would need to configure that.

Please let me know if you are have questions about any of this information, and I will be happy to provide more details.
