"3D" in querystring

certain users end up with"3D" in their query sting when they click on the link in the  emails we send out for them.

example:
www.anysite.aspx?date=5/11/2005
is interpreted as
www.anysite.aspx?date=3D5/11/2005

Is it made by email client they use or is it to do with their browser?
I checked and they use IE...so cant figure out the problem.It works fine in my machine...with IE

how can i fix this?

trevorhartmanCommented:
you should URLEncode your urls:

theUrl = "http://www.anysite.aspx?date=5/11/2005"

theProperUrl = Server.URLEncode(theUrl)

that should solve your problems.
