nobus,

This is what HP has to say about LaserJet 3150 for Windows XP:

*************
"For the HP LaserJet 3100 and 3150 series products, HP recommends using the latest software to obtain full functionality in Microsoft Windows XP. HP has verified that the latest software will work in Windows XP. However, these drivers are not certified for use within the Windows XP environment, causing a digital signature warning message to appear upon installation.

Version 179.5 or later of the product software is required for proper functionality within Windows XP. The drivers and some of the product software will not be available for download from the Web due to licensing restrictions and size. To install the entire product software, including drivers, it will be necessary to use the current CD.

Version 197D or later of the product software is required for proper functionality within Windows XP. The drivers and some of the software will not be available for download from the Web due to licensing restrictions and size. To install the entire product software, including drivers, it will be necessary to use the current CD."

Peggy, i'm not the asker ! ...  and does that not support what i said?
nobus . . .

Sorry for the mistake.  Yes my comment does support your comment.  Are we not supposed to post comments that support other comments?  Didn't mean to step on toes!

Peggy

that's allright, no toes stepped on, but i got the impression you were answering  my post, and that's not the idea.
nobus,

thanks.

Peggy
