Windows 2000 File server Share Question...

Dear All:

I have a win2000 file server and join NT Domain,when the client computer(winxp,win2000) try to access the file server , and didn't prompt any login account and password dialog,
I can see the share folder name and install the share printer,why this happen.
(the client computer didn't join the NT domain).
in the event log i can see the event "anonymous logon" ....

I don't know what happen???

This is a permissions issue.

- On your server, go to the folder/printer which is shared, right click and click 'Sharing'
- Click on 'Permissions'
- Add the group called 'Authenticated Users' and give it the same permissions as the 'Everyone' group.
- Remove Everyone.
