window subclass

i saw a example of subclassing a window in another process http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Programming_Languages/Delphi/Q_20429026.html. Can someone give me an example I tried calling sethook but its not working on various programs. like notepad's main class is notepad but still doesnt work though. Can someone get that example working with something like notepad?

Thanks,

GloomyFriar the link i provided subclasses a window inside a seperate process which isnt my own. It is supposed to append menus to the process and then hook the wm_command message so that my application gets notified when my added menus are click so I may act on the fired events. I'm under the impression too that any unhandled messages, messages that i'm not filtering for, example --> wm_mbuttondown I should suppress with wm_null or give back to the old wndproc of the process before I modified the window behavior.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Take a look:
http://www.remotelysupported.com/gloomyfriar/_SubNotepad_20050515.rar

It works for me. It was compiled under Delphi7 and tested under w2k with the standard Notepad.
