Need to stop or pause a RUS rebuild

I started runnning a RUS Rebuild on my windows SBS 2003 with exchange 2003 to repair some similar problems according to another post i found on these forums.  I was under the impression that it would only take 4 hours max since the other post said a few hours.  I need to shut down the server for other maintinance that i need to do.

I need to know how much of the rebuild is done and how to stop the rebuild.

This is very urgent and time sensitive cuz i need to complete my maintinance and then resume the rebuild before everyone comes into the office.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, you can do the restart between the two different rebuilds. I made another change and did a seperate rebuild after a restart and it worked OK. And I also used the event log message as confirmation that it was completed.
