Getting errors when trying to print from Lotus Notes 6

when I print in Notes (either icon, file -->print or Ctrl+P) gets popup, I cannot quit notes when task is running. I hit ok, another error comes up that says "Cannot create window out of space".  I hit ok and then a blank Notes workspace comes up which I close and finally the doc prints but I have to get through all of these errors before it will print.  can you please tell me whats wrong? I am running on Win2000 OS.

Odd... Exactly which version of Notes 6?

It seems more like a printer problem to me, so
1) reinstall the (network ?) printer
2) reinstall the Notes client (just over the old one)

Other applications do work? You can print to file from Notes, or use a fake printer (look into www.pdf995.com for a pdf generator)?

The exact version is 6.0.2CFI. Reinstalling the lotus client seems like a premature thing to do. But I would like to make that my last resort. Would you happen to know why the problem occurs in the first place? I will try to reinstall the printer and see what happens. by the way, other applications are working fine.

Accurate except that it does not show that it applies to 6.5.0, 6.5.1, 6.5.2, 6.5.3
