Can I have 2 listeners (version 9.2) listening on same port 1527
Hi,
I have 3 oracle installation on 1 server.
The listener for 8.1.7 listens on port 1521 (that's not a problem).
I have 2 installation of version 9.2 (mandatory in this case), each having it's own listener, both configured on port 1527.
Can both be up and running (and working fine) listening on port 1527 ?
Note : I don't want to discuss other ways to do this (I know what to do). I just want to know if you have a configuration like this or if you tried it.
Thanks

Me, When I do it I have both listeners up and running.
But I'm not sure it will work in the long run.

In that case, if you don't get connection problems, it is probably ok. No harm keeping them running, see what effect they have.

Are you sure you have 2 different 9.2 installation on the same server ?
