This is extremely strange.<br />
I have CR8.0 &nbsp;VB 6.0<br />
I have a report in crystal report which I access through VB.<br />
For some reason it keeps getting corrupted.<br />
Each time I step through the code, when I hit preview on the report I get 'Cannot open SQL server.' Server.<br />
So what I do is bring up the .rpt file from the back up area double click it and connect to oracle and I verify database.<br />
It says the database is structure is changed &nbsp;do you want to update? I click on Yes/OK button and it updates the report.<br />
I am able to see the data. Then I close the report.<br />
Now I run the VB program and again I get the same error.<br />
If go back double click on the .rpt file the file is ok ie I am able to view the data. &nbsp;Only through VB I get this error.<br />
I am not sure If I explained corrrectly.<br />
It will be a great help if any one you experts have ever encountered this type of problem.<br />

Cannot open SQL server in VB

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information.
