copy the sysprep folder from the Windows CD to c:\ (ie. c:\sysprep)
and run c:\sysprep\sysprep.exe
That will remove the SID Identifiers ready for ghosting!!

I am currently trying out d3bugg3r suggestion using the symantec ghost guide. I will let you guys know what the outcome is.
Check for \support\tools\deploy.cab on your CD
It contains all informations about unattend, sysprep, etc.
You have a tool to create any unattend solution Setupmgr.exe
Or you can use ref.chm to create a sysprep.inf from scratch.
Just choose the options you need, give them a value and put them under the correct [Section]
Extract the deploy.cab to C:\Sysprep
Copy your Sysprep.inf to C:\Sysprep
Run Sysprep.exe if your computer is correctly configured.
Choose MiniSetup and PnP
Reboot or shutdown the computer.
The Ghost image once redistributed to other computers with type of hardware can crash XP.
You need to copy drivers on the computer before running Sysprep.exe
and add some options.
