I have a client that is running a full back up then a incremental/ She is asking me if her full backup fails does it still reset the archive bit? so that the incremental will not have to do everything anyway. the reason it failed was because of some open files thank yoiu

Archive bit is reset if the file is backed up...thus any files that are not will not be reset.
