Outlook Contacts Problem

Please bare with me as I try to explain this problem. First off, I thought this problem was solely an Excel related problem, but now I think it's fully an Outlook issue.
Here's a bit of background on the problem...
I have a spreadsheet that someone had coded for me. On that spreadsheet, I am able to click a button to run some code that will e-mail the spreadsheet results to whoever I preset.
There's a page within the workbook that I preset with names/email groups. And when it tries to send the e-mail, it's pulling those names/groups off of the excel spreadsheet before it sends.
Well, everything had worked perfectly fine & my excel workbook was doing as it should. But I wanted to add the outlook group called "Repair" so that group would recieve the e-mail. Well it kept resulting in an error saying something about how it couldn't mail to multiple people.
I found that to be odd, cause I am able to mail when I use the group "Customer Care". It works perfectly fine.
So I was trying to think, why it wasn't liking the "Repair" group. When I mentioned this to one of my co-workers she had mentioned, that if you type "Repair" into the "To:" section of the e-mail it will not send. You have to psychially pull that name out of the Outlook contacts section.
Which didn't make sense to me, cause I am able to type in "Customer Care" into the "To:" section & it sends perfectly fine.
So anyhow, that's my problem.
I have two Outlook groups.
"Customer Care" & "Repair"
You can manually type in "Customer Care" and the e-mail will send perfectly fine.
But you cannot manually type in "Repair", cause the e-mail won't send. You are only able to mail that group, if you select the "Repair" group from the contacts list.
Why on earth would it be doing that?
