We have installed Office Small Business on a Terminal server and it works fine until we add a pst file to the users outlook profile. It then crashes and will continue to crash until we remove it from their profile.  We installed the same version on local computers and they do not have any problems.  We are using Windows 2003 SP1 fully patched as Office is fully patched as well.  We have uninstalled and re-installed the application several times.  We have even rebuilt the server and still getting the same results.  We don't have any virus protection or anything on the server so we know we are not getting any conflicts there.

There is an issue with Outlook and there is a hotfix that has not been published to the general public yet.  I contacted Microsoft and paid the 250 bucks to find out that there is an issue in outlook.  They provided me the hotfix and refunded my money.  If you are having the same type of problem, contact Microsoft tech support and ask to speak with Outlook group.  They are going to want to transfer you to the Windows 2003 terminal server group, but it is not their problem it is an outlook problem.
