USER32.dll Error.....###

Hello everybody @ Experts-Exchange,

I'm kinda game freak. :-)
I'm running a Windows 2000 OS.
Whenever i try to open games like NFS Underground, NFS SE II, NFS Porche Unleashed, Mortal Combat, Midtown Madness, etc...
I get an error which says

"The procedure entry point GetRawInputDeviceList could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll"

I downloaded a new User32.dll file from the net and copied to the "\system32" folder, but still i get the same error.

Can i get a relief from this problem??..

thanks for reading it :D

Tomy...

this sounds like a problem with directX.
Uninstall directX, reboot and install it again

Hi ---

This could be an issue with DirectX or it could be an incomaptiblity with the OS and the games. I was running Windows 2000 Pro before switching to XP and I could not play High Heat or one of the NFS games.

running sfc /scannow should resolve this problem. Its a file conflict.

Well, the guy couldn't play NFS Underground, something no man should be missing, it's kinda the same thing like 'education for all children in the world', and a social motivated dude like me I always do my best to get as much sorrow out of the world as possible :-)

(man o man, I should have my morning coffee before posting in EE)
