I would recommend using the EAF from Cynergy Systems.  (www.cynergysystems.com).  It's a free framework for developing web apps and has documentation and tutorials.  I've found it very easy to use and it has an excellent support group for asking questions.

Hi,

you can try pbgs.pdf  on Getting Started Disk, or read Getting Started Book.  At lesson 12 you learn step by step how to develop a JSP web page.

At the end of lesson 12 you see how to declare session variables to use them across all your web pages while your user stay in the session.

In lesson 13 you learn to use web datawindows, so you can use the functionality you like from single row to multi row record.

I hope it helps you.
