Event ID 8206

Hello everyone

The event log in my Exchange 2003 server keeps getting Event ID 8206 - Calendaring agent failed with error code 0x80070057 while saving appointment.   Its the same user every time.
Ive checked the registry as per Microsofts recommendation. Any ideas as its only one user causing this error!

Thanks
Cat

First instinct is AV. Make sure that your Antivirus is not scanning the Exchange directories. Normally seen on Exchange 2000 servers with the M: drive. Have you added the m: drive back in to Exchange?

Just one user?
Have you tried getting the user to try another machine?

If it still causes the problem export the content of the mailbox out to a pst, delete the mailbox and recreate. Single user issues aren't really worth the time and hassle for more in depth troubleshooting.
