As I plan to move the transactionlog files and the databases ( .stm and .edb files ) to another drive on the same exchange server 2003, I understand that during the movement, I would be prompted to dismount the database temporarily.

I would like to know how would I remount the databases manually.

The exchange server is exchange 2003 standard with operating system being windows 2003.

Thanks and Regards

    Hi bhimsen,

within exchange administrator, browse to your server then right click on your store, and you will have an option to 1 - dismount store (if the store is online) , 2 - mount store ( if store is offline).
But while moving the database it will remount the store for you automatically.

    Hope This helps
