    When you said you reinstalled QT 6.5  did you use the apple reinstaller for this problem here?

Applications - DigiDesign - Digidesigncoreaudio setup - remove Final Cut Pro from the list of programms.<br />

I updated my system to 10.3.9 included and update to quicktime 7 nd now my final cut pro (4.5) hangs at the splash screen(loading audio filters), I have reinstalled QT 6.5 with the apple reinstall tool deleted all preferences QT FCpro ect but still final cut pro hangs.<br />
I have also ran sudo update_prebinding -root / -force<br />
ut still it hangs, any help would be much appricated<br />
