Suppress Duplicate records.

I have group1 that prints "x" amount of records in order to produce a separate report for each record.  There are times when the records are duplicates, and I do not want to process the dups.  I then have group2 that processes these same records, and lists them within each report.  I need it to show the duplicates within the report, but not print it when processing group1.

Group1
        abc corp
        xyz corp
        dhl corp
        abc corp

I need suppress duplicate occurences within Group 1.  Group1 is used specicially to print reports all the records processed.

Group2
       abc corp
        xyz corp
        dhl corp
        abc corp

However, I need all the records displayed within each report.

How can I create a suppression formula for group1 not to process duplicate records?  I tried selecting distinct records within the Database menu without luck.  Thanks...

Where are you doing this?

What are you grouping on?

I am grouping by claim ID.  Each record has a unique claim id, but can have the same Payee.NameID.  Grouping is accomplished using the group expert.

I think if you add a new group - Company Name you can use the group header for the information.  Since the group header is only printed once for each group you should see a company only listed once.
