Raising a Domain Functional level from 2000 to 2003

Situation:
I am operating at a Windows 2000 Domain functional level. I have 4 physical sites 3 sites are running W2k3 DCs and 1 site is running W2k DCs. One of the W2k3 has a two way trust with an NT4 domain (soon to go away).
All FSMO roles are on the W2K3 DC.
Question:
Any reason why I should not go to a W2K3 functional domain?

You will not be able to add older DC's to the domain. If you will have a problem with the old servers you have to upgrade them to w2k3 which in itself maybe is what you want.

Can you please clarify what you mean by "older DC's"
We have no plans of adding any W2k or NT4 DCs. Only W2K3 DCs will be added from this point on.
Thanks

To be more precise. Microsoft says that if you raise the domain or forest level to w2k3 all servers should be w2k3 in either the domain or forrest. To see more what they have to say please follow this link: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/library/ServerHelp/9fae0ea9-d6d0-40fe-b034-8b3cebf6effd.mspx
