I was wondering if someone could help me out as I'm completely stock and this seriously slowing me down work wise.
I had a virtual pc 2004 running windows 2003 server sp1 on my laptop which has an pcmcia adapter wireless network card (netgear w511). I had never bother upgrading the network drivers as it was working fine unless my laptop went in hibernation mode. To this point, vpc 2004 use to see all my pc's and server on the network, but it was not able to communicate with the host pc.
Over the weekend I installed the latest drivers from Netgear and since then (I think!), I no longer see any of pc's and server over the network. I cannot ping them, vpc just does not know they exists.
The strange thing is that now my host and guess can communicate, which is basically the exact opposite from what I had.
The problem is that I'm testing new security settings with DCOM and I need to have access to active directory but it won't let me since I cannot ping anything at all.
I'm really stock.
