Windows Terminal Server

There are several servers at this location, and I'm trying to find the Terminal Server; Is there a trick to finding the correct server with the role of Terminal Server?

Thank you,

Nelson

What version if Windows Server are you running. Have you enabled Terminal Services?  If you are running Server 2003 its Start>All programs> Administrative Tools

If all your servers are on the same domain you can run Remote Desktop Connection... Drop down the box... and select Browse for More... this should show you the servers that have terminal server installed

If you want you can install Terminal Server on a server you have and go to Terminal Service Manager and this will also populate a list for you.

You can also run a port scanner on your network for port 3389

Do I need a utility to run a port scanner? If I do, can you recommend a good one?
If I don't need one, can you give tha syntax?

Thanks,
