I'm working on setup a DNS Server on Windows 2000 Server.
I followed the steps to install MS DNS Server. In these steps:
-- Start --> Settings --> Control Panel
--> Add/Remove Programs
--> Click Add and remove Windows Components to start Windows Components Wizard

I looked for "Add and Remove Windows Components" under "Add/remove Programs" but I couldn't find it out.
If you know how to access "Add and Remove Windows Compoents" or how to start "Windows Components Wizard", please help.

Click on Add/Remove Programs... there should be a grey area on the left hand side with a button named "Add/Remove Windows Components"... this will open a dialog box... go to Networking Services and click Details... Select Domain Name System (DNS)

hope this helps

If you have problems accessing the "Add and Remove Windows Compoents", you can use the Wizard.

The Wizard is available on Windows 2000 and Windows 2003

On Widnows 2000
Go to Start--> Programs--> Administrative Tools--> Configure Your Server
Click Networking and Select DNS
Follow the instructions.

On Widnows 2003
Go to Start--> Programs--> Administrative Tools--> Configure Your Server Wizard--> Press Next--> Next--> Select DNS--> Next etc...
Follow the instructions.
