I would like to know if it is possible to monitor data coming through a serial com port using .NET C#. Basically our client has a device installed on a printing press which sends out a electronic pulse on each revolution of the press. This pulse is sent to a PC installed on the press via a serial port. I would like to monitor this pulse and write a timestamp to a file when each pulse is received. Is this possible in C#?
