Windows 2003 Standard Edition - Alert of Disk Failure

I have a Win 2k3 Standard server with a mirrored volume.  I was wondering if there is an option in the OS (or some software) that will alert me via email if a disk fails?

Pretty straight forward question I think! :)
Thanks in advance.
