PGP tmp files location

kerzner asked
Last Modified: 2008-03-17
PGP places its tmp files (created during various operations) into the current directory by default.
In order to avoid tmp file conflicts (as we have encryption jobs occuring simultaneously) I want to specify the directory into which PGP should place its temporary files. In older versions of PGP this could be done by setting the TMP and TMPDIR env variables. (e.g. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/1802/pgpcard.html#07). With PGP version 8.* I wasn't able to specify the tmp directory using TMP or TMPDIR env variables.
Any suggestions for how to specify this directory? Thanks.
