I forgot there was a different UPS hooked up to these computers before. &nbsp;I put in a APC Back-ups 500 and configured it in the UPS tab and the service started up fine.<br />

When I try to start the Uninterruptible Power Supply Service I get the message Error:2481 The UPS service is not configured correctly. &nbsp;<br />

The Startup Type is automatic. &nbsp;This is happening on a Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Server computer but works on other systems. &nbsp;I tried copying ups.exe from a working computer but that didn't help. &nbsp;These computers are standard installs with no special apps running and all the latest patches.
