Yes, this is quite possible!

Add a reference to Microsoft Word to your .NET project and try the following code:

        Dim word As New Word.ApplicationClass
        Dim doc As Word.Document = word.Documents.Open("C:\Doc5.doc")
        word.Run("DoTheThing")
        doc.Close()
        word.Quit()

This runs a macro called "DoTheThing" in the opened document.

I think you can.

If you create a word application object, open a document with it and then run something like:

oWord.Application.Run(MacroName:="YourMacroName")

try it.

There is an excellent book on this subject. "Developing Visual Studio .NET Macros and Add-Ins" by Jeff Cogswell. Visit the web site for details.
