customize dreamweaver for asp.net pages

I'm new at working with .net pages in dreamweaver... I'm wundering if it's possible to customize dreamweaver when you work with .net pages?  like tags and stuff.

Hi,

Yes you can add tags (whole libraries if necessary).  Have a look in

Edit > Tag Libraries...

Here you can select the ASP.NET library and add tags, or you can build your own custom tag library (useful if you want to keep track of which ones are your own addons, and back them up when reinstalling) and select which of the defined server models can access it.

If you're also looking to extend the functionality of the server model, you may find some useful extensions in the Macromedia Exchange

PS - if you are looking to back up your self-defined tags, look in

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration\TagLibraries

If you make a new library it will have its own folder in here, containing a .vtm file (basically an XML file) for each tag you've defined.  If you've modified the existing libraries, they will have their own folders here containing .vtm files for your new or modified tags.
