When I login to my AIX machine in CDE (as any user including root) I get a failsafe session that states &quot;Tooltalk Message Server Could Not Be Started&quot;.<br />

Further details ask to check resolv.conf, tcpip setup, etc. &nbsp;All are working and configured correctly.<br />

I extended the DT_TTSESSION_TIMEOUT to 120 . No Luck<br />

Checked the .dt/startlog which basically just shows the same error as above.<br />

Can't turn anything up on the net regarding the issue. &nbsp;A few posts made but no solutions provided.<br />

I'm new to AIX so other than the obvious steps I'm stumped. &nbsp;Any ideas on a solution would be appreciated.<br />

CDE Login states ToolTalk Message Server could not be started
