Running background agents

Since a couple of years I am using a wokstation to run some maintenance agents at night, nicely scheduled through the night. The workstation is having some performance issues so I prepared another station with performant hardware.
Now i got the problem that i can't seem to get running the scheduled background agents anymore.
I do think i made all the necessary settings ( enabling in user preferences ) and the ACL on the different databases didn't change and i am still using the same Notes account.
Anyone any idea what might be the problem, what settings to check so that scheduled agents effectively run like planned ?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would check the agent log for errors #1.

#2, where are the agents located ? In a local DB or one on a server ?

If local, chk the ACL or copy it to the new machine.

If this is Lotus script, then also try turning on the debugger.

I hope this helps !
