IIS 5 is giving me a username and password everytime I go to my website (ASP). How do I stop this?

I have a Windows 2000 Server with IIS 5.0 on it. I have a website that uses ASP. I have registered the ASP dll using regsvr32 C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\asp.dll and it worked successfully. However, everytime I try to access the site I am prompted for a username and password. The site once existed on a different server. I still have it set up there, so I used the identical settings (it never prompted when on the other server [same OS and same version of IIS]). What am I missing here?

I did install .NET 1.1 and all service packs are up to date.

Thank you,

ASKER

I figured it out. It turns out I had to allow Everyone rights on the local web folder. I was thinking all along that it was IIS.

Thank you anyway.
