How can I find which app server I'm running on from my web app?

I have a web app (WAR file) that may be deployed on different app servers.
Is there a standard way to query the container and find which brand, version it is?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As per my knowledge , don't have any application which gives the version and name of the appserver deployed with WAR file. If you find out let me know also.

Thank you,

I think you can use the JMX API to detect the application server under you're running

I actually found the solution.

You can use: this.getServletContext().getServerInfo()
